As mentioned previous, we have the nugget an pellet ice – It is called nugget because of it’s small unique and soft shape. Again it is also similarly called Pellet ice for similar reasons, size look etc.

I am looking for a small COUNTERTOP ice maker that makes SONIC-style ice bits. Not an under-counter. Not a bullet/pellet maker. Not a maker of small cubes. SONIC ice.
Does such a thing even exist?

    • madison says:

witch?? r u kidding? don’t buy an ice maker. buy an education.

      • SMH Idiot corrector says:

This coming from the so called educated person who uses ” r u ” instead of ” Are you “. Let’s not forget to use a capital “D” for “don’t” and a comma is used in place of a period if you can’t even capitalize ” buy”.

        • Correcting the Idiot Corrector says:

You have used excessive spaces inside some of the quotation marks.

Periods always go inside quotation marks in the U.S.

You neglected to use a comma before the conjunction “and” in the last sentence.

No, a comma is not used to join two independent clauses unless used with a conjunction. In this instance, a semicolon may have been used; however, the original poster used a period, which is correct. The only error in the last two sentences was the lack of capitalization. Had she used a semicolon, capitalizing the “b” would have been incorrect.

which of the scotsman models makes the sonic ice?

  12. William62 says:

Hello, do you allow guest posting on ? 🙂 Let me know on my email

  13. Lyle says:

The Opal machine is NOT automatic. You have to fill a reservoir manually and wait for the ice. This makes it unsuitable to replace your home ice maker. If you just want it for special occasions – like parties, etc, then it’s more suitable.
